Right, I understand that some people do have tougher lives than others, and I totally respect that. To be honest, if you’ve got a problem - I’ll always listen. However, when I see the sort of things some people post on Tumblr, it is an absolute JOKE.

No one wants to be your “superman”, or “superwoman” - not REALLY. Miserable people are not attractive. FACT. So by further moaning about why you’re single - you are really not helping yourself.

Aimed at literally no one in particular but I keep seeing it more and more, and it makes me gag. Maybe it’s just me, but you seriously don’t have to plaster your fb/twitter etc with pictures of you and your partner, and little “tit-bits” of how great a partnership you are… GOOD FOR YOU. Honestly, no one actually gives a fuck about you and your partners lovey dovey relationship and the little things you do, other than you and your partner.

No one cares:

- What you had/are going to have for dinner. DULL.

- What you’re doing together tomorrow. YAWN

- That you stayed in bed all day cuddling. GROSS

- That you miss each other after 10 seconds of being apart. LAME.

- That you love each other sooooooo much and are going to be together forever. UNLIKELY.

- That this is your 2 year 7 month and 13th day anniversary. WHO FUCKING COUNTS THIS HONESTLY.

Plenty of people I know just go about their relationships in private, and they are usually the most SOLID and STABLE relationships. That’s all I know.

For me it’s the real life equivalent of kissing and cuddling and holding hands at the fucking dinner table when you’re out with friends in couples. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS - IT’S GROSS. Maybe it is just me as I just can’t stand PDA’s. I believe all kinds of intimacy are for in private, and not for public viewing.

There’s being proud, then there’s being plain annoying. STOP.

This is for anyone that like me, shares a slightly cynical view to the fact that being in a relationships solves all of your problems, and ultimately makes you a happier person.

In my experience, and from my friends experience, I would actually argue in a lot of cases they don’t.

If you are the sort of person that updates your facebook every 5 minutes with another pointless anecdote about what you and your bf/gf have just got up to, and said to each other - then this is totally aimed at YOU.
